land in Nepal. It houses the statue of sleeping Vishnu which
is one of the largest icon carve in a huge monolith. The famous
Shivapuri Baba's hermitage, Manichur Danda- a Buddhist sacred
place, the great Vipasana Meditation Center, Budanil-Kantha
Boarding School where the crown prince studied and dozens
of magnificent Tibetan monasteries of various sects are also
located here. The sacred spring of Bagh-duwat and Bishnu-Duwat
from where the holy Bagmati and Bishnumati rivers flows, lies
in the cradle of Shivapuri mountain.
