Early Check-in Policy

  • Arrivals before 08:00 hrs will be charged one full night’s room rate.
  • Arrivals between 08:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs will be charged 50% of the applicable room rate, subject to room availability.

Late Check-out Policy

  • Late check-out between 12:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs will be charged 50% of the room rate.
  • Late check-out after 18:00 hrs will be charged one full night’s room rate.

Identification Requirements

In compliance with government regulations, all guests must present a valid government-issued identification document upon check-in.

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in independently. Guests below 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Child Policy

  • Children below 5 years: Complimentary stay and breakfast.
  • Children aged 5–11 years: 50% discount on meals when sharing existing bedding.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted within the hotel premises to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all guests.

Payment for accommodation and related services is required upon check-in unless otherwise arranged.

  • Personal cheques are not accepted.

Visitor Policy

For the privacy and security of all guests, unregistered visitors are not permitted inside guest rooms.

Visitors may meet guests in designated public areas, restaurant spaces, or outdoor seating areas.

Additional overnight occupants must be registered with valid identification and may be subject to additional charges.


Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.

All guest rooms and indoor public areas are non-smoking.

Smoking in non-smoking rooms or restricted areas will result in a cleaning and restoration charge of USD 50 or equivalent local currency.


Security

The hotel premises are monitored 24 hours a day by trained security personnel and CCTV surveillance systems in public areas.

For security and operational purposes, the hotel reserves the right to review CCTV recordings. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.


Guest Conduct

Himalayan Front Hotel reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, threatening, unlawful, or detrimental to the comfort and safety of guests and staff.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Possession, use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs or narcotics
  • Possession of firearms, explosives, or dangerous weapons
  • Gambling or unlawful activities within hotel premises
  • Excessive noise or behavior causing inconvenience to other guests

Guests violating these policies may be removed from the property without refund and reported to the appropriate authorities.


Photography & Videography

Casual photography for personal use is permitted.

Professional photography, commercial filming, drone operations, and content creation for commercial purposes require prior written approval from hotel management.


Parking

Complimentary parking is available for registered hotel guests, subject to availability.

The hotel shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage, or incidents involving vehicles or personal belongings left inside vehicles while parked on hotel premises.


Swimming Pool Policy

The swimming pool is available exclusively for registered guests during operating hours.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required.
  • Diving, running, or unsafe behavior is prohibited.
  • Guests use pool facilities at their own risk.

The hotel reserves the right to close the pool for maintenance, weather conditions, or safety reasons.


Viewpoint & Outdoor Area Safety Policy

Himalayan Front Hotel offers outdoor terraces, gardens, and panoramic viewpoints for guests to enjoy mountain views.

For safety reasons:

  • Children must be supervised at all times in outdoor areas.
  • Climbing on railings, barriers, walls, or restricted structures is strictly prohibited.
  • Guests should exercise caution during wet weather, strong winds, or low-visibility conditions.
  • The hotel shall not be liable for injuries resulting from unsafe or unauthorized use of outdoor facilities.

Fire Safety Policy

The hotel is equipped with smoke detectors, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency evacuation systems throughout the property.

Emergency exits are clearly marked and evacuation information is displayed in guest rooms.

In case of fire or emergency:

  • Follow instructions from hotel staff.
  • Proceed immediately to the nearest emergency exit.
  • Do not use elevators/lifts.
  • Assemble at the designated evacuation point.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date unless otherwise stated in the reservation confirmation.

Promotional, advance purchase, or non-refundable bookings may be subject to separate cancellation conditions.

Late cancellations and no-shows may incur charges up to the full value of the reservation.


Lost & Found Policy

Lost and found items discovered within the hotel premises are documented and securely stored.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner using available reservation details.

Unclaimed items will be retained for six (6) months and thereafter disposed of in accordance with hotel policy.

Perishable items will be disposed of within 24 hours for hygiene and safety reasons.


Force Majeure

Himalayan Front Hotel shall not be held liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, government restrictions, pandemics, labor disputes, utility failures, or other force majeure events.
