Early Check-in Policy

  • Arrivals before 08:00 hrs will be charged one full night’s room rate.
  • Arrivals between 08:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs will be charged 50% of the applicable room rate, subject to room availability.

Late Check-out Policy

  • Late check-out between 12:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs will be charged 50% of the room rate.
  • Late check-out after 18:00 hrs will be charged one full night’s room rate.

Identification Requirements

In compliance with government regulations, all guests are required to present a valid government-issued identification document upon check-in. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in independently. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Child Policy

  • Children below 5 years: Complimentary stay and breakfast.
  • Children aged 5–11 years: 50% discount on meals when sharing existing bedding.
  • Children aged 12 years and above: Charged as adults.

Extra beds are available upon request and subject to additional charges.


Pet Policy

To ensure the comfort, hygiene, and safety of all guests, pets are not permitted within the resort premises.


Payment Policy

Payment for accommodation and related services is required upon check-in unless otherwise arranged.

Please Note:

  • Personal cheques are not accepted.
  • Indian Currency notes of INR 100 denomination are accepted in accordance with Nepal Rastra Bank regulations.

Visitor Policy

For the privacy and security of all guests, unregistered visitors are not permitted inside guest rooms.

Meetings with visitors may take place in designated public areas, lounges, restaurants, or outdoor seating areas of the resort.

Additional guests staying overnight must be registered with valid identification and may be subject to additional occupancy charges.


Smoking Policy

Waterfront Resort offers designated smoking areas for guests.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside non-smoking rooms and indoor public spaces.

A cleaning and restoration fee of USD 50 or equivalent local currency will be charged for smoking in non-smoking areas.


Security

The resort is monitored 24 hours a day by trained security personnel and CCTV surveillance systems in public areas.

For security and operational purposes, the resort reserves the right to review CCTV recordings. Access to footage is restricted to authorized personnel only.


Guest Conduct

Waterfront Resort reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose behavior is considered disruptive, abusive, threatening, unlawful, or detrimental to the comfort and safety of guests and staff.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Possession, use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs or narcotics
  • Possession of firearms, explosives, or dangerous weapons
  • Gambling or unlawful activities within the resort premises
  • Excessive noise or behavior causing disturbance to other guests

Guests violating these policies may be removed from the premises without refund and reported to relevant authorities when necessary.


Photography & Videography

Casual photography for personal use is permitted.

Professional photography, commercial filming, drone operations, and content creation intended for commercial purposes require prior written approval from resort management.


Parking

Complimentary parking is available for registered resort guests, subject to availability.

The resort shall not be held responsible for loss, theft, damage, or incidents involving vehicles or personal belongings left inside vehicles while parked on the premises.


Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Policy

Electric vehicle charging facilities are available at the resort.

Guests wishing to use EV charging services are requested to contact the Front Office for operational procedures and applicable charges.


Swimming Pool Policy

The swimming pool is available exclusively for registered guests during designated operating hours.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required.
  • Glassware, food, and beverages from outside are not permitted in the pool area.
  • Guests use the pool facilities at their own risk.

The resort reserves the right to restrict access for maintenance, weather conditions, or safety concerns.


Fire Safety Policy

The resort is equipped with smoke detectors, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency response systems throughout the property.

Emergency exits are clearly marked and evacuation maps are displayed in guest rooms.

In case of fire or emergency:

  • Follow instructions from resort staff.
  • Proceed to the nearest emergency exit.
  • Do not use elevators/lifts.
  • Assemble at the designated evacuation point.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation.

Certain promotional, advance purchase, or non-refundable reservations may have separate cancellation terms.

Late cancellations and no-shows may incur charges up to the full value of the reservation.


Lost & Found Policy

All lost and found items discovered within the resort premises are documented and securely stored.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner using available reservation information.

Unclaimed items will be retained for six (6) months and thereafter disposed of in accordance with resort policy.

Perishable items will be disposed of within 24 hours for hygiene and safety reasons.


Force Majeure

Waterfront Resort shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, strikes, utility interruptions, or other force majeure events.
